CHAMBER MUSIC

To work with chamber music in collaboration with ensembles, choirs and soloists is of great inspiration to Lil Lacy.
Especially working on different pieces and productions with som of the same ensembles, choirs and soloists, over a longer duration of time, has been a crucial part of the development of Lacy’s work, music and sound, as well as her communication and notation.
I sincerely love this aspect of music; that the musicians / singers and the composers are deeply interconnected and interdependent. We can really grow together. And trust changes everything. - Lil Lacy about working with musicians and singers.
Lil Lacy will be Composer in Residence at Festival & Friends (2025-2026) and Oremangsgaard Kammermusikfest (2026-2027). Both festivals cherish old as well as new chamber music across instrumentation, styles and centuries.
